Jey Uso Speaks Candidly On Learning From Paul Heyman And 'Vibing' With Main Event Stars

Paul Heyman has been around the Samoan Dynasty for his entire career and the latest generation is excited to sit under the extreme learning tree.

Paul Heyman first started managing the Samoan SWAT Team, Samu and Fatu following the demise of the original Midnight Express in WCW back in 1989. Thought you would go on to be Rikishi and now, his son Jey Uso is right alongside Paul Heyman once again as they each help Roman Reigns continue to sit at the head of the table.

Speaking in an Instagram Live interview with Pro Sieben MAXX, Uso, who has had his first taste of main event glory in the year 2020, explains why it means so much for him to work closely with Paul Heyman.

"[Paul Heyman is] damn near like my uncle. I know a lot of people feel some kinda way about Paul Heyman but, that man is in this business for a reason. That man has been around this business for a reason. He does have a brain for this. Look at all the soldiers that he's brought out. Brock [Lesnar], [CM] Punk. Having him around and being around him every single week has sharpened me as a performer, sharpened me as a co-worker, put me on my game, man. I’m always working and why would I not sit under the Paul Heyman learning tree? Then, I got [Roman] I'm vibing with them. I can get used to this, 'Uce.”
