Jim Cornette Says There Is A Long List Of People Who Refuse To Ride With Vince McMahon Driving

Vince McMahon was involved in a car accident on Thursday, July 24.
According to the police summary of the incident, a 2024 Bentley Continental GT driven by McMahon collided with the rear of a 2023 BMW 430. Barabara Dolan, who was driving the BMW, posted that she was “Lucky to have survived.”
Another car was involved, hitting debris that flew into the southbound lanes. No one was injured in the accident, but McMahon’s Bentley was totaled.
On social media, Jim Cornette said about McMahon’s driving, “The long list of people who would refuse to ride with Vince driving included me and Jim Ross, who told him ‘I love my children and want to see them again.'”

Vince McMahon was issued a misdemeanor summons for violating two Connecticut General Statutes: 14-222 (Reckless Driving) and 14-240(b) (Following Too Closely Resulting in an Accident). He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Stamford Superior Court on August 26, 2025.
The accident occurred on the same day, and just hours before, it was learned that Hulk Hogan had passed away. McMahon returned to social media that day, remembering one of the biggest stars to ever step foot in a WWE ring.
