Jim Ross Had A Bad Fall A Few Days Before AEW All In Texas, Didn’t Break Anything But Is Still ‘Sore As Hell’

Jim Ross details his recent health incident.
Ross appeared at AEW All In Texas in a big way, as he was on the call for the final two matches of the night — Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega and Adam Page vs. Jon Moxley. Notably, this was his first appearance for the promotion since the Dynasty pay-per-view in April.
Unfortunately, Ross was the victim of a nasty fall in his hotel room just a couple of nights before the show took place.
“I had a bad fall on Thursday night in my hotel room and boy, I was lucky I wasn’t down for the count. But I had a hell of a fall — It’s like a soft tissue thing. I didn’t break anything I don’t think, but I had a bad fall in my hotel room. I didn’t have my phone because as you know, I had left my phone in the Uber and I didn’t have any way of communicating with anybody. I just went to bed and it was challenging. I’m still sore to this very minute. It was quite the ordeal, that’s the only negative thing that I could say. I had a bad fall and I survived it. I’m still sore as hell. It’s just funny, the older you get, the slower you heal. That’s kind of my situation right now. I’ll be alright.” Ross told Conrad Thompson on the latest episode of Grilling JR.
It is currently unknown when Ross will make his next appearance for AEW.
