Jim Ross Claims Ronda Rousey's Debut Was The Best He's Seen

Jim Ross was impressed by Ronda Rousey in the ring.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Jim Ross praised Ronda Rousey for her professional wrestling debut at WrestleMania 34 in a mixed tag team match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

“I thought Ronda Rousey's debut was the most impressive thing I've seen in pro wrestling in my forty year career,” said Ross. “Best debut I ever saw, great hire, smart move by WWE. Second best hire they have ever made (besides Ross),” he added.

Ross said not only will more female mixed-martial-artist come to professional wrestling, he said Rousey will inspire any female athlete to consider WWE as a career goal.

“A lot more women are going to train for the opportunity to come to WWE. When you can go use your physique, your athleticism, and your personality to make a lot of money...Why not?,” said Ross.

Rousey was victorious in her debut when she submitted Stephanie McMahon. Most recently on Raw, Rousey has been seen with Natalya who she trained with before WWE
