Jim Ross will be at AEW All In Texas.
Just weeks after confirming that he is cancer-free, Jim Ross provided an update on his status for AEW All In Texas, saying he'll be at the show on Saturday, July 12.
“Absolutely. I’ll be there. I’m going to fly in on Thursday and do our business on Friday and then I’ll be at the pay-per-view on Saturday.” Ross said on the latest episode of Grilling JR.
Later on in the podcast, Ross said that he'd like to be on the call for the match between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada.
“I don’t know what match I have. I know what matches I’d like to have, but you know, Tony Khan takes good care of me with match selection. I appreciate that, he looks out for my style and my well-being in that regard. Okada, I mentioned Okada and Kenny Omega, well that’s one of the featured matches on Saturday’s show. I hope I get the call to participate in that presentation. That’s something an announcer can only dream about and I dream about it all the time because I have a great respect for both of those guys. I feel like they’re probably going to be in a position to close the show or close to it."
Ross last appeared for AEW at the Dynasty pay-per-view in April. He was on the call for the singles contest between Will Ospreay and Kevin Knight.
