Jim Ross Hints At "Another Company" Coming Along To Help Bring Brands Together

Jim Ross furthers speculation about a new wrestling company.

During a live episode of Talk is Jericho with Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler, Ross addressed the report that WWE tried to keep Rey Mysterio from appearing on the Cruise. Ross first praised Jericho, before hinting that "another company" would be coming along.

Wrestling Television Viewership Numbers: WWE Raw, SmackDown, NXT, AEW, IMPACT

Fans on the cruise stated Ross was joking with his comments, noting that he is still under contract to WWE.

On Oct. 19 a report from SEScoops stated Ross and Jericho, backed by billionaire Shahid Khan, were beginning a new wrestling promotion, slated to start within the next 12 to 16 months. Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, and other members of The Elite were reportedly on-board with the new company. The report indicated that Ross and Jericho were in talks with AXS TV to secure a television deal with AXS TV executive Adam Swift said to be "fast-tracking" the idea.

However, AXS TV reps denied the report that they were involved with the company.

Since then, talk of a new company has died down and Jericho even went on to joke about the report. Jericho, Ross, and The Elite are all taking part in Jericho's Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Rager at Sea.
