Jim Ross: I Never Believed Vince McMahon Would Allow WWE To Get This Out Of Control

Jim Ross weighs in on allegations against Vince McMahon.

On January 25, a lawsuit was filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant against Vince McMahon, WWE and former executive John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault.

McMahon denied the allegations, but resigned from his position as TKO Executive Chairman after the allegations came out and Slim Jim paused its promotional partnership with WWE.

Jim Ross worked in WWE, and alongside Vince, for over two decades and gave his thoughts on the allegations against Vince and his departure.

"Lots of change afloat. Personally, I'll be glad when the winds have swept that change on through. I'm tired of it. It's embarrassing in a lot of ways that it's happened this way. It's affected a lot of innocent people. That's my take on it. I might be wrong. It's time to move on. It's time to move on and cause rest and peace for some people, but it's time to move on. I never believed that Vince would allow his company to get this out of control, and it has. I feel badly about that. I know how much WWE meant to Vince. I'm sure it still does. It's time. Let's move on," Ross said on Grilling JR.

McMahon sold 5.3 million shares of TKO stock on March 4. TKO President Mark Shapiro said McMahon is never coming back.

Ross recently signed a one-year extension with AEW. You can find his comments regarding his new contract by clicking here.
