Jason Jordan and Kurt Angle have potential for a character change, according to Jim Ross.
In his blog, Jim Ross discussed current events of WWE programming including the revelation from Monday that Jason Jordan is Kurt Angle's son. For weeks, Raw General Manager Angle has been involved in a storyline where he received startling text messages and phone calls. On Monday, Angle stood in the ring and told the world Jason Jordan is his son.
After Raw, Angle and Jordan were interviewed on WWE Network by Renee Young. Ross saw something in the interview which indicated to him there could be more to Jordan and Angle's characters.
"Might just be me but after watching the Rene Young interview, nicely done BTW, with Kurt Angle and his 'son' Jason Jordan on the @WWENetwork after RAW, I can easily see where Jordan and 'Dad" could be terrific villains down the road," wrote Ross.
Jason Jordan is a former tag-team champion in WWE and NXT. His tag-team partner Chad Gable is still appearing on Smackdown. On Tuesday, Gable spoke about Jordan's new father. As American Alpha, Jordan and Gable have been connected to Kurt Angle before. Both wrestlers said they would enjoy working with Angle and admitted they were fans of Angle. In another interview, Angle spoke about the potential of American Alpha.
In the rest of his blog, Ross wrote about his experience at the Mae Young Classic and Braun Strowman. This blog and Ross' podcast are available at JRsBarBQ.com.
