Jim Ross says WWE needs to figure out more for WWE Royal Rumble.
The event will take place in The Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Around 60,000 fans can fit in The Alamodome for a WWE event. In his latest blog, Ross says he believes WWE will need a good card to fill The Alamodome.
"WWE has got plenty of work to do to sell out the Dome which is why I feel that they will load the card for San Antonio with a couple of attractions beyond the actual Rumble match. No matter who is in the Rumble match I have my concerns that that one attraction will sellout the large venue," wrote Ross.
Recently, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar declared their place in the Royal Rumble match. No other matches have been lined up on the card. WWE has two months to create a card for one of it's traditionally big shows. Ross says the weekend will have something for the fans.
"Nonetheless it will be a fun weekend for all fans when you factor in the NXT Takeover event Saturday night, our show on Sunday afternoon and the Royal Rumble on Sunday night," said Ross.
WWE Royal Rumble is January 29th. Ross will be appearing in San Antonio at Improv Comedy Club on the same day. The show is a part of RINGSIDE with Jim Ross which is a show featuring Ross sharing stories from his career in wrestling. In the blog, Ross also discussed Ring of Honor's Final Battle, UFC's ability to create stores, and how WWE reportedly told commentators to treat Goldberg versus Brock Lesnar.
