Jim Ross: Shane McMahon In AEW Would Be So Crazy It Just Might Work

Jim Ross weighs in on the possibility of Shane McMahon coming to AEW.

Shane McMahon hasn't been on WWE television since he suffered a leg injury at WrestleMania 39 when he landed awkwardly performing a leap frog against The Miz.

Shane's future in wrestling is unknown, but Jim Ross was asked about the possibility of him joining AEW during an episode of Grilling JR.

After Conrad Thompson mentioned that it would be "crazy," Ross commented, "Yeah, it would. It’s so crazy that it might work, depending on how it was positioned and how it was introduced. Shane called me the other day, he’s called me two or three times, which I really appreciate. He’s always been sensitive in that respect. That’s only a question that Shane could answer. Shane and Tony Khan being together, how would that work creatively, heck, who knows? Might be great. But in any event, that all depends on Shane and what he wants to do."

Fightful will update fans on the future of Shane in wrestling if and when more is known.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Ross commented on Ricochet potentially joining AEW. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
