Jim Ross Takes A Spill While On Commentary At NJPW's G1 Special Show

A rough moment for Jim Ross.

Last night's NJPW G1 Special was live from the Cow Palace in San Francisco and was broadcasted on AXS TV. On the call for the event was former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett and WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross.

The two were calling the action since 8 P.M. EST and around 10 P.M. is when things got rowdy. The IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship match between Jay White and Juice Robinson kick-started and within minutes of the bell ringing the two longtime rivals took their fight to the outside--destroying one another's bodies by tossing them into the guard rails all around the ringside area.

As they continued their brawl on the outside Jay White executed a suplex onto Juice Robinson on the guard rail where the commentators table was. The impact of the move caused Juice Robinson to fly into the rail that caused the rail to ricochet into the announce table which knocked over Jim Ross. As this happened Ross' broadcast colleague Josh Barnett stated on the mic, "Wow, you done f****d up now" speaking to Jay White who hit the maneuver. Josh Barnett then arose from the announce table and began approaching Jay White.

Once Jim Ross gathered himself he put his headset back on and stated that the official needed to "get their s**t together" referring to the allowing of Jay White and Juice Robinson to continue fighting on the outside for the majority of their match.
