Jim Ross says WWE can't ignore Cody Rhodes' evolution.
Last year, Cody Rhodes had his first full year in the independent wrestling circuit and according to Rhodes it was his most successful year in wrestling. On The Jim Ross Report, the host Jim Ross spoke about Rhodes' match with Kenny Omega at Supercard of Honor XII and what he expects from Rhodes' future.
“I look for Cody to have a great great year in 2018 and make even more money than he is making now,” said Ross. “I think at some point in time, if the stars are aligned, and everyone is of a like mindset, Cody will be back in WWE before it's all said and done. Don't know when, don't know under what circumstances, but he's too good of a talent that continues to evolve for WWE not to notice and try to re-sign,” he continued.
Ross went on to say he would make it a priority to sign Rhodes if he were in that position within WWE.
