Jim Ross Wants To See Samoa Joe Face Brock Lesnar

After Wrestlemania 33, Jim Ross wants to see Samoa Joe face Brock Lesnar.

On January 30th, former NXT champion Samoa Joe debuted on WWE's main roster. After nearly two years in NXT, Samoa Joe was brought to Raw to attack Seth Rollins on Triple H's behalf. Rollins had been goading Triple H for weeks until Triple H lured him to the ring only to be attacked from behind by Samoa Joe. Rollins ended up with a knee injury because of the attack.

In a recent blog, Ross said he has very much enjoyed the last two weeks of Raw featuring Samoa Joe in the main event. Ross even has an idea of what he would want for Samoa Joe after Wrestlemania season.

"Same goes for one of my favorite talents in all of the biz, Samoa Joe, whose debut and subsequent appearance on RAW has been impressive. About now is when many fans will begin to second guess the booking because they can't figure out where Joe is headed creatively, Hmm..how's this? Goldberg vs Lesnar at WM33 for Universal Title, Lesnar wins, Lesnar is the Champ until he meets, gasp, Samoa Joe on a big stage for the title. Joe gets the duke. Case Closed. Builds to a Kevin Owens versus Samoa Joe rivalry around the title that could be epic," wrote Ross.

At Wrestlemania, Brock Lesnar will face Goldberg, who may be the WWE Universal Champion if he defeats Kevin Owens at WWE Fastlane. Ross would also say in his blog why he is a proponent of having Goldberg versus Lesnar for the championship.
