Jimmy House Says He Learned How To Work Heel In WWE EVOLVE

Jimmy House learned how to work heel in WWE EVOLVE.

During his time in the WWE ID program, House competed on EVOLVE as a member of The Mog Squad faction. As it turns out, this was his first time working as a heel.

“Personally for myself, the straightforward answer is I learned at least the bare bones of how to work heel or what I should be looking for to work heel because, I said this on an interview the other day, but up until that point, I had never worked heel on the indies.” Jimmy House told Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp in a new interview. “Second to that, I had maybe done heel in practice, like maybe three times or something like that. It’s a guilty thing that I didn’t go out of my way to work on. So all my babyface reps on the indies were of that last year and when we went to Evolve and we learned about the Mog Squad stuff.”

House continued on by joking about how he was the “unc” of The Mog Squad.

“It’s hard to put that over as a babyface faction at least off rip, right? So I started to try to find out who I am as a heel, but then who I am as a heel with this mogging twist to it, which, you you try to learn how to be a heel and then you learn what mogging is and then all these subcategories of mogging. Me being the 30 year old of the group, being the oldest by about five to seven years, I was very much the unc of the group. Actually I think one regret that I have of Evolve is we never got to the point to where I could dive into the unc side. ‘Cause I had some ideas in regards to different promos we could have done to lean into the unc side and not knowing different things that they’re talking about. But anyways that was a big transition, understanding what I need to be doing as a heel and then how to mog on top of it. So it was a different challenge.”
