Jimmy Uso Reflects on Naomi’s Pregnancy: We’re Still In Awe, But It’s Bittersweet

Jimmy Uso talks to Fightful about having a whirlwind few months with Naomi. While he’s very happy they’re expecting a child, he also mentions that some of the timing feels bittersweet.

Naomi and Jimmy Uso announced they were expecting a child on the August 18, 2025, episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. Before that, Naomi was having the most successful run of her WWE career. She had just successfully defended the WWE Women’s World Championship at WWE SummerSlam. On her way to the ring for that match, her father, Shay McCray, played guitar as she made her first Women’s World Championship entrance on a PLE.

Now, Jimmy Uso is shedding some light on how the happy couple is feeling following an exciting several months. Speaking to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful in an interview recorded ahead of WWE Wrestlepalooza, Jimmy said they’re still getting used to all the changes she’s undergoing, but they are still ecstatic.

“Very bittersweet. Very bittersweet. All you named off, and it was a great weekend. We’re seeing her as the best. So, to put everything on a halt on her career because we’re pregnant now. So, it was very bittersweet, man. Every day she’s getting used to it. You got to think different, the pace change, the mentality change, physical change. So every day we take it one day at a time. We still in awe, but we still excited as hell.”
