Jinder Mahal comments on potentially returning to WWE.
Raj Dhesi is best known for his time in WWE as Jinder Mahal, where he became the WWE Champion. WWE released him in April 2024. Since then, he has been competing on the independent circuit. MuscleManMalcolm recently interviewed him and asked him about potentially returning to WWE.
The former WWE Champion said he would be open to it if it made creative or business sense, but right now, after a long career with WWE, he's having fun calling his shots.
"Yeah, of course, if it makes sense, of course. Business-wise, there has to be enough zeros on a piece of paper for me to sign it, but I'm just having fun. I've been very blessed in my career. I had a long career and invested most of my earnings throughout my years. I became financially literate. I studied money, learned compound interest, and how to invest in the S&P 500 [and] rental properties. So I just do what I want and have fun. But again, if it makes sense, business-wise or something interests me creative-wise, definitely," he said.
Jinder Mahal previously reflected on being told he was no longer a wrestler but a manager shortly before his release. Learn more here.
He's also reflected on being part of the Punjabi Prison Match at WWE Battleground 2017 against Randy Orton. He was not fond of the match type. Learn more here.
