The Modern Day Maharaja is back.
Jinder Mahal returned to Monday Night Raw tonight, appearing on WWE’s red brand for the first time since April 2019. In his return match, Mahal defeated Akira Tozawa in quick fashion, ending the match with the Khallas.
Mahal, a former WWE Champion, has not been on WWE television since competing in a battle royal at Super ShowDown back in June 2019. Since then, Mahal had been sidelined for months with a ruptured patella tendon. After being WWE Championship from May 2017 to November 2017, Mahal held both the United States and 24/7 Championship.
