Joe Coffey Visits Tony D'Angelo In Jail On 6/27 NXT, Plays Recording Of Stacks Plotting Against Him

Holy cannoli. It looks like the rat was a lot closer to Tony D'Angelo than potentially expected.

For the past several weeks, Tony D'Angelo has been locked up and away from NXT television due to undisclosed charges.

In recent weeks, Tony has told his Underboss, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, that he needs to step up and make a move. On June 20, Stacks was seen abducting Joe Coffey and stuffing him in a trunk. However, just one week later, Stacks would help Gallus' Mark Coffey and Wolfgang retain the NXT Tag Team Championship over Malik Blade and Edris Enofe.

Later in the show on June 27, Joe Coffey would visit Tony D'Angelo and reveal to him via a recording on his cell phone that Stacks appears to be coming for the top seat in the family.

In Coffey's recording, Stacks told Joe to lay low for a week and that he was tired of being the Underboss.

D'Angelo appeared dejected after hearing this news.

Time will tell whether or not Lorenzo is actually a rat or if this is more of a clever ruse by the D'Angelo Family.
