Joe Hendry On Ava: I Absolutely Wish Her The Best, I Think She Was Doing An Awesome Job
Joe Hendry sends his best wishes to Ava.
At the end of January, Ava took to social media and announced that she chose to not renew her contract with WWE. This obviously brought an end to her stint as NXT’s general manager.
Speaking with The Takedown on Sports Illustrated for a new interview, Hendry recalled a nice conversation that he had with Ava before wishing her the best with her future.
“Well, me and Ava actually had that conversation. She was asking about my influences after seeing one of my concerts. She probably figured it out but I was happy to let her know that it was her dad who inspired me to get into the business. We had a really nice conversation about that. I absolutely wish her the best, I think she was doing an awesome job. I think we had some great moments on TV. Whatever’s next, I wish her the absolute best.”
