Joe Hendry Def. Ricky Saints To Retain NXT Championship At NXT Vengeance Day

Headlining WWE NXT’s Vengeance Day Premium Live Event was Joe Hendry defending the NXT Championship against Ricky Saints.

During the bout, Ethan Page showed up, and Saints expected Page to have his back. He wanted Page to pass him the NXT Title belt, but Page purposely pushed the title near Hendry and acted as if he did it by accident.

At the end of the match, Hendry almost ran into the referee in the corner, but caught himself. Saints walked up behind him, and Hendry low-blowed Saints while the referee was not looking.

Hendry would go on to defeat Saints to retain the NXT Championship. It was Hendry’s second defense of the belt.
