Joe Hendry: Randy Orton Doing The Spin And His Pose Was Him Giving Me The Seal Of Approval

Joe Hendry recently told Ariel Helwani that he thinks Randy Orton was very happy with how their WrestleMania 41 match went.

Thousands of people said his name…and he appeared at WrestleMania 41.

Joe Hendry was revealed as Randy Orton’s mystery opponent at The Granddaddy of ‘Em All and, while the match wasn’t a very long one, Hendry more than made an impact in his battle with the Legend Killer. The two put on a memorable ‘WrestleMania moment,’ and it’s something both Hendry and Orton are proud of.

“I don’t want to speak for Randy, that would be something he would answer, but from my perspective and my understanding, he was extremely happy with how it went,” Hendry recently told Ariel Helwani on The Ariel Helwani Show. “We clicked immediately. We were on the same page, which was an awesome thing. He was so amazing to work with. I often find this with top top talent, when I worked with Kurt Angle, they are so great to work with. People are saying, ‘Joe Hendry lost quickly.’ John Cena lost quickly at WrestleMania. It’s about creating moments. At the end, when Randy does my spin and then does his pose, people who know what wrestling is know that was Randy giving me his seal of approval.”

While making the media rounds, Hendry stated that the match with Orton was exactly how it should have gone. You can find his full comments here.
