Joe Hendry Says There Was A Chance He Could’ve Been On 2025 WWE Raw In Scotland: “We Just Couldn’t Get It Done For That Show”

Joe Hendry commented on the speculation that he was going to be on Raw in Scotland.

Back in March 2025, WWE was on an overseas tour, and one of their stops was Glasgow, Scotland, for Monday Night Raw.

An advertised bout for the show was the duo of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller versus Jey Uso and a mystery partner. There was an assumption by the public that then-TNA World Champion Joe Hendry would be Uso’s partner, but it led to the return of Jey’s brother, Jimmy Uso.

Hendry appeared on Cheap Heat and said there was a chance he could have been on the show, but he was with TNA at the time and said things could not be finalized.

“There’s been moments in my career which felt tough at the time. I’ll give you an example: I remember there was a time where it looked like I was going to be on Raw in Glasgow, Scotland, and Scotland’s where I’m from so, to do Raw at that time in Scotland would have been a dream come true for me and I remember, you know, I was in TNA at the time. We just couldn’t get it done for that show, and I remember it feeling painful… thinking it was the worst thing ever and I was like, ‘Aw man,’ and I just couldn’t see the positive in it. But then four weeks later, I was on WrestleMania. Now, would I have been on WrestleMania if I’d done that? Maybe not. Because it wouldn’t have been the same reaction.”

Hendry is now signed to WWE and was present on the 8/3 Monday Night Raw. He faced Bron Breakker in a singles match and lost in under two minutes.
