Joe Lando Says Wrestling Will Ospreay Was A ‘Crazy Fulfilling Moment’

Joe Lando reflects on wrestling Will Ospreay, noting that it was a ‘crazy fulfilling moment’ for him.

Lando is a name that has become a staple of the United Kingdom’s independent wrestling scene over the course of the past few years, and during that time he has faced off against some of the top singles and tag team wrestlers on the island, including Will Ospreay.

While speaking to Wombreezey and Bodyslam.net in a new interview, Joe Lando reflected on getting to wrestle Will Ospreay in singles competition.

“It comes back to what I said at the start,  fulfilling. When I first discovered independent wrestling, Will was one of the first guys that I discovered and certainly the first guy I really gravitated towards, you know, a huge influence on myself and many other people my age on the scene, especially in England. So, you know, to set foot in the ring with him and, it wasn’t, it was only a few years before that where I was paying to go to the Electric Ballroom to watch Will Ospreay wrestle. So to wrestle him, in the Electric Ballroom for PROGRESS, was yeah, a crazy fulfilling moment. Something I’ll never forget. Cause he is like my top guy.”
