Joey Janela Recalls AKIRA Incident At GCW, AKIRA Gives His Side

Joey Janela and AKIRA go back and forth on social media.

On social media, a fan told AKIRA that GCW should book him.

AKIRA referenced a Joey Janela tweet from 2021 that said, “Akira has blown his chance working GCW.”

He then commented further, “One of the talent there outright said it in 2021, despite having no hand in the promotion allegedly. They don’t like me. They don’t like what I do. Don’t like what I bring to the table. They don’t like someone who is what they are and not pretending to be something to make money. I was in the middle of a stupid deathmatch war in 2020 and old grudges will never die. They now blame me for what happened late last year and I’m the villain, so there’s a black mark on my name to them and those adjacent to them. That about sums it up.”

Janela gave his side of things, saying, “Idk what this tweet was in regards to in 2021 I was probably drunk. But you blew your chance working for GCW when you shot ran in the ring during a massive angle on a show you weren’t booked on in a company you weren’t apart of.

Not only that but Blake was like wtf is going on and had to superkick you, and instead of selling it and bumping out of the ring you NO SOLD IT & FIRED UP on the night of a huge angle where Blake turned completely heel going into his big push so he had to shoot smash you with a chair.

I was super nice to you afterwards, and talked to you because you obviously have some kind of brain damage and you were crying because your own peers and GF were absolutely embarrassed by what you did.Brett was nice enough to throw you a couple bookings after because he had to make sense of everything story wise. But I think that was moment you blew any chance of working for GCW in the future.”

Janela also showed a video of the incident.

AKIRA responded, “Funny.

I remember being put in a weird spot not being told of said angle and having everyone look at me as if to do something.

I made a judgement call.

I also remember being booked in a deathmatch with someone high as a kite and then that person was outed as being drug addled and domestic violent as well. Booked him after that match and put the nail on me as the bad guy for that match not being good.

I remember my first experience in a locker room being cornered because I was an ICW guy and being cornered for that and threatened. To which we let those bygones be bygones.

I remember you and someone else going into an interview I was doing’s chat and trying to embarrass me/bully me into doing ToS in 2021 when I was just worried about my positioning in another company, and GCW just throwing me under bus because I was the other guy in the other company with the guy you didn’t like running it.

Which they did.

The funny thing about not being drunk or high as fuck all the time Joey is that I remember these things as they happened and you forget because you’re a grift fuck who sleeps around and prays people don’t remember you being an idiot.
