Joey Ryan Discusses 'All In' Resurrection And Upcoming Match With Priscilla Kelly

Joey Ryan thought things went well at All In.

At All In, Joey Ryan was resurrected following his "death" on Being The Elite. Ryan, complete with Penis Druids, confronted his killer, Hangman Page.

“Well, 10,000 people were chanting ‘Rest in Penis,’” Ryan told Sports Illustrated. “That tells me it couldn’t have gone any better. It was a really cool moment, and that was all storyline from ‘Being The Elite.’ Hangman and I still haven’t had a real match against each other. It was all emotional investment in what we did on the storytelling side.”

A match between Hangman and Ryan could take place under the All Elite Wrestling banner, except Ryan is unable to sign with the promotion due his contract with Lucha Underground. Ryan recently filed a class action lawsuit against Lucha Underground's production company as a way to get out of his Lucha Underground contract.

While Ryan cannot sign with AEW, or any other promotion, he continues to freelance for various Independent companies. On Mar. 14, Ryan will face Priscilla Kelly at Quintessential Pro Wrestling. Kelly recently made headlines for pulling a tampon out of her tights and using it in a match and projectile vomiting on an opponent.

“That promotion is open to all styles,” said Ryan. “They have Tom Lawlor vs. Josh Barnett booked for the main event, which is the complete opposite of myself against Priscilla. I think the match will be memorable. Being the style of wrestler she is and being the style of wrestler I am, I think we’re going to come up with some creative stuff.”

Ryan recently made headlines for saying "WWE guys are coming after Indie money" on social media in light of WWE superstars requesting their release.
