John Cena Says Authenticity Is More Important Than Chemistry, ‘The Audience Can See Through Bullshit’

John Cena preaches the importance of authenticity.
Chemistry has been an essential part of wrestling since its inception, but if you ask John Cena, authenticity is the most important trait that a performer can posses.
“I would say it’s not as important as authenticity. Chemistry is fun because you don’t have to worry about mechanically achieving something, you can strictly put all of your resources towards physical creativity. If you are unauthentic, the audience can see through bullshit. Authenticity, believability in character in the most important metric. All of the other stuff is a bonus.” Cena told First We Feast’s Slice Joint for a new interview.
Earlier this month, Cena said that Eric Andre would succeed as a performer in WWE. Click here to check out his full comments.
