John Cena acknowledges "The Tribal Chief."

John Cena kicked off the October 13 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, welcoming the WWE Universe to the season premiere. However, he was cut off very quickly by Roman Reigns and his return to WWE.

Details Behind Drew McIntyre's WWE Contract Talks

Roman Reigns made it clear that he and John have been through this before and he was prepared to handle business again when John Cena threw him a curveball. Instead of challenging Roman Reigns, Cena declared that despite what any announcers say, Roman Reigns has accomplished the greatest feat of all time by holding the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for as long as he has at over 1,100 days.

John Cena declared that he has not earned the right to challenge Roman Reigns and therefore he wouldn't, but he did introduce someone who can and has earned that right, LA Knight.

Fans can learn more about what happened afterward in the first face-to-face meeting of Roman Reigns and LA Knight at this link.
