Speaking with WIRED for a new autocomplete interview, John Cena was asked if he watches anime. Cena confirmed that he does, giving a shout-out to ‘Fist Of The North Star’.
“I do, but again, not a lot of free time. So, the last anime I saw was ‘Fist Of The North Star’. It’s such a cool movie, it’s about like a post-apocalyptic society of martial arts superheroes. It’s kind of like pro wrestling, if there was a post-apocalyptic WWE universe. Yeah, it’s an oldie but a goodie.”
Cena is currently in the midst of his retirement tour in WWE. So far, he’s faced off against some of the company’s top names like Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, CM Punk, and R-Truth.
At WWE Clash In Paris, Cena will face Logan Paul in a singles contest. This match comes after Paul and Cena teamed up to face Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso at the Money In The Bank premium live event in June.
