John Cena: Arnold Schwarzenegger Has Been Very Influential To How I Move Through Space As A Human Being

Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a huge influence for John Cena.
Since beginning his Hollywood career, Cena has primarily starred in action or comedy movies. This includes films like ‘F9’, ‘The Suicide Squad’, ‘Bumblebee’, ‘Argylle’, ‘Coyote vs. Acme’, ‘Heads Of State’, and ‘Ricky Stanicky’.
As it turns out, Cena has a strong affinity for Arnold Schwarzenegger, who also established himself in Hollywood with the same type of films.
“So, I have a strong affinity for Arnold. Sly’s accomplishments — I have more fluency in Arnold’s background and Arnold’s story, but I will read Stallone’s memoir and be able to answer the Stallone side a little bit better in the future. I want to use my admiration for Arnold outside of vocation. He is open, vulnerable, self deprecating. His advocacy of being useful has helped me narrow in on my purpose. Gosh, he is what I believe the American dream is. An immigrant coming here with a big idea and making impossible just a word. How he is relentless in trying to get the best out of others, how he uses his notoriety and relevance now. Like I said, his concept of being useful, his words found me at the right time and have helped hone my purpose for what I feel is the act three of my life. Arnold has been very influential about how I move through space as a human being.” John Cena told Comic Book in a new interview.
Elsewhere in the interview, Cena talked about Cody Rhodes doing ‘Street Fighter’ press as Guile. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
