John Cena is joining the Barbie world.
The former WWE Champion has been cast in "Barbie", the film about the popular doll. Directed by Greta Gerwig, the movie is set to hit theaters on July 21, 2023. The star-studded cast includes Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Dua Lipa, Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, Emma Mackey, Simu Liu, Will Ferrell, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Michael Cera.

"Barbie" is being produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Mattel Films. It is the first live-action Barbie movie after several animated films. The story is written by Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach.
Cena continues to build the list of major movies on his filmography. In 2023 alone, he will also be in "Fast X", where he will reprise his role as Jakob Toretto, and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem", where he will voice Rocksteady.
Cena returned to WWE on the March 6 episode of WWE Raw and later challenged Austin Theory for the WWE United States Championship at WrestleMania 39. Theory beat Cena in the opening match of the first night of the show.
