John Cena Cast In Netflix Comedy ‘One Attempt Remaining’

John Cena gets his next feature role.

Deadline reports that John Cena has been cast in the Netflix comedy “One Attempt Remaining.”

Kate McKinnon & Aimee Carrero have also joined the cast. Jennifer Garner was already signed on.

According to Deadline, “Written by the duo of Joe Boothe & Alexa Alemanni, as well as Cannon, the film follows an ex-couple who, years after their acrimonious divorce, learn that the cryptocurrency they won on a crazy night on a cruise is now worth millions… but they’ve forgotten the password. With only three days left before the account expires, they must retrace their steps that night, not just to find the password to their fortune, but also why they fell in love in the first place.”

Shawn Levy and Dan Levine of 21 Laps are producing alongside Nicole King for Linden Productions.

No premiere date has been given for the film.
