John Cena Confirms He Will Not Be At WWE Clash At The Castle

John Cena is coming back to the ring at some point, but it won't be at WWE Clash at the Castle.

Cena hasn't wrestled on TV since losing to Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam 2021, but he's been adamant that he's not fully retired. Cena was in Wales for Comic Con, and while he was excited to be in Wales for his first Comic Con in the country, he won't be returning for WWE Clash at the Castle.

"I've been coming to Cardiff to fight for 15-plus years, and every time, it's exciting and amazing. I'm not going to be at Clash," Cena said during a Q&A session at Wales Comic Con. The Wales crowd booed Cena for his comment.

WWE Clash at the Castle is scheduled for September 3 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. The event is currently scheduled to be headlined by Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre.

Later during the Q&A session, Cena was asked what his favorite match of his career is.

"My answer is always the same. My next one. I haven't yet hit the point where I'm fully retired, so I can always say my next one. Someday, I'll have to reflect back and pick a favorite, but I know I'm not done with the ring, so my next one is my favorite one," he said.

It is unknown when Cena will return to the ring.

Elsewhere during the Q&A session, Cena gave his "wrestling Mount Rushmore." Fans can find his response by clicking here.
