John Cena: Every PLE of This Tour Has Been Special and Significant In It’s Own Way

Just hours before he steps into the ring for the final time, John Cena answered a few questions from fans on social media. The 17-time World Champion revealed why he fell in love with pro wrestling, but was then asked which Premium Live Event from this tour has been his favorite.

In typical John Cena fashion, the legendary performer didn’t quite answer the question. He didn’t give a definitive answer, but the answer he gave should be enough to please everyone who had a chance to be part of his farewell tour.

“Every PLE of this tour has been special and significant in its own way,” Cena wrote.

Here in 2025, Cena participated in the Royal Rumble, he was in the Elimination Chamber, main evented WrestleMania, and wrestled on Backlash, Money in the Bank, Night of Champions, Summerslam, Clash in Paris, WrestlePalooza, Crown Jewel, and Survivor Series. Cena was able to visit so many places one final time as the atmosphere were incredibly different in each arena he wrestled in.

Now, for the second time this year, he’ll be wrestling on Saturday Night’s Main Event. His first SNME appearance saw him take down R-Truth in under five minutes, but things will certainly be different against Gunther. Fightful will have coverage of the event beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST.
