John Cena Has No Interest In Politics

John Cena is not interested in a career in politics.

Throughout the years, several professional wrestlers have found their way into politics, with the likes of Glenn Jacobs (Kane) even becoming mayors. However, John Cena is not looking to follow in the footsteps of talent like Jacobs.

While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, Cena was asked about possibly moving into politics, with the 16 time world champion noting that he has no interest in the idea.

"No. If you are so influenced by this, and other people, one by one, are influenced by that, you don’t need a political figure to be a catalyst for change. We live in such a great society that people can orchestrate change. We are in the current state of where we are because this is essentially our attitude. What can I control if I’m upset? I can control how I behave. How I behave is influential on other people, maybe it effects you, and then one by one, one person at a time, we have the ability to voice ourselves as people."

As well as his legendary wrestling career, Cena has also found a large amount of success in Hollywood, recently appearing at The Oscars.

Elsewhere during his appearance on The Drew Barrymore show, Cena noted he is still waiting on his invite for WrestleMania 40. You can read more about that here.
