John Cena: I’ve Never Once Chosen My Opponent

John Cena is in the middle of his retirement run, which is set to conclude in December.

Cena has squared off with Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, CM Punk, and R-Truth during his last run, and will next face Logan Paul at WWE Clash in Paris.

As far as his last opponent goes, Cena is keeping things quiet.

“I’ve been doing this for 23 years, and I’ve never once chosen my opponent,” said Cena in an interview with Justin Barrasso of Boston Herald. “I’ve always lived by the philosophy that life will give you opportunities every single day, and you have to do the best you can every single day with what life gives you. So whoever challenges me for that last match, I’m going to give it my best shot.”

After losing the WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WWE SummerSlam, John Cena was attacked by Brock Lesnar.

It is unknown when Brock will return to television.
