John Cena has named his wrestling soulmates.
Over the span of his over 20 year career in WWE, Cena has squared off against some of the top talent of the rosters he has featured as part of. Randy Orton, Edge, CM Punk and more have contributed to Cena’s legendary career as some of his biggest rivals, and now Cena has named his wrestling soulmates.
While speaking at the Boston Fan Expo (transcribed by The Boston Herald), Cena would be asked about his wrestling soulmates, naming some of his biggest rivals over the years in addition to his recent rival, Cody Rhodes.
“I have a few wrestling soulmates,” said Cena. “Those are Randy Orton, Edge, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and AJ Styles. But gosh, I can’t take any shine away from Cody Rhodes – add him, too.”
Throughout his retirement tour, Cena has faced off against several of his ‘wrestling soulmates’, as he had final bouts with Randy Orton, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and more. Cena is scheduled to retire later this year, and is currently set to face Logan Paul at Clash In Paris.
Recently Tyrese Haliburton would react to Cena’s recent face turn following his run as a heel. You can read more about that here.
