John Cena Makes Return To RAW, Immediately Starts Feud With Roman Reigns (And The Miz) (And Samoa Joe)

Kurt Angle, who had teased the RAW debut of "a celebrated superstar" earlier today, came out on RAW and announced the return of John Cena, after over a year on SmackDown Live.

Cena had been advertised as a Free Agent for several weeks now, and it was revealed by the touring schedules advertised on WWE that he would be appearing solely on RAW after SummerSlam.

Cena came down to the ring tonight and called out Roman Reigns. The two were about to come to blows when The Miz's music hit and he and The Miztourage came down to the ring. Miz cut an impassioned promo on Cena and Reigns, saying that the two golden boys keep getting handed major moments, "while the Intercontinental Champion rides the pine."

Cena suggested a moment could happen tonight, with a tag match between Cena & Reigns and Miz & either Bo Dallas or Curtis Axel. It was then that Samoa Joe came out to the ring, and said that HE was going to be Miz's partner, then attacked Cena.

A brawl broke out and Cena and Reigns stood tall to end the segment.

We'll keep you updated with the result of that tag match.

(Update: Cena and Roman won. Surprise, surprise.)
