Never give up.

That's the motto John Cena preaches on WWE television and in life. That's the motto that helped one family get through breast cancer.

In a video posted by Project DITS, Cena can be seen watching a young boy named Tyler tell the story of his mom being diagnosed with breast cancer. The boy gave his mom a John Cena wristband, which Cena had given to the boy at a WWE event, and told his mom to "Never give up."

Tyler revealed that his mom is now cancer-free.

At the end of the video, which is roughly two years old, Tyler and his family surprise Cena, who greets them with a big hug. Tyler's mom has the Cena wristband in a protective case, showing the importance of the merchandise and the message.

Cena is known for his charitable work with Make-A-Wish, granting more than 650 wishes for the Make-A-Wish foundation since he started with the organization in 2004.

Just remember to never give up.
