John Cena On Who He Would Go Back In Time And Face In A WrestleMania Main Event: Selfishly, Andre The Giant

John Cena says he would main event WrestleMania against Andre The Giant given the chance.

Throughout his legendary career, Cena has main evented WrestleMania on several occasions against a litany of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling and WWE in the 2000s and 2010s. However, if Cena could wrestle anyone in the main event of WWE’s biggest show, he would go in back in time to wrestle Andre The Giant.

While speaking at Chicago Fan Expo, Cena was asked who he would go back in time and face in a WrestleMania main event given the opportunity, with Cena naming Andre The Giant.

“Just selfishly, Andre, because he was like the measuring stick. The folklore behind Andre the Giant is mythical, and both physical as his presence, but also in the folklore of the fraternity of the Brotherhood of Wrestling, especially the WWF territory. I’m sure it’s across the world, because Andre was a global phenomenon, but… Selfishly, yes. That’d be the one, Andre the Giant.”
