John Cena's kid friendly roles keep coming.
After hosting the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards two years in a row and voicing a villain on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, John Cena will be playing a Polar Bear named Yoshi in the movie The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle. The revelation came from a social media post by the star of the movie, Robert Downey Jr.
The film has been set to be released in April of 2019 and includes other actors like Antonio Banderas, Selena Gomez, Craig Robinson, Octavia Spencer, and Kumail Nanjiani. The film is the latest adaptation of the story of Doctor Dolittle who can speak with animals.
Recently, Cena has also been connected to a Duke Nukem movie. If all of his movie projects are produced by then the end of 2019, Cena will have been in four movies over the course of two years and been in over a dozen television episodes.
