Cena explained that the crowd and Roman Reigns brought him back. Cena said he's back for the WWE Universal Championship and he wants the bout at WWE SummerSlam. Cena then called Reigns "an asshole."

"Roman Reigns is an arrogant, self-absorbed, overhyped, overprotected, overexposed gimmick who is not as over as he says he is, and that is coming from me. There is a saying, 'if you're good, you'll tell everybody. If you're good, you'll demand everyone acknowledge you.' If you're good," Cena said before the audience the asking to make some noise. "The rest of that saying is, 'If you're great, they'll tell you."

Cena closed by saying he would be at SmackDown and he would see Cena there.

After Cena's promo against Reigns, Riddle came out and "Bro'd out" with Cena. Literally, bro.

Cena officially returned to WWE on Sunday at Money in the Bank, hitting Roman Reigns with the "You can't see me" after Reigns had defended his WWE Universal Title against Edge.
