John Cena Says He Did Nothing Wrong When Selling Ford GT In New Court Documents

John Cena is firing back against the Ford Motor Company.

a TMZ Sports report says that John Cena has filed documents arguing his case against the Ford Motor Company's lawsuit against him. The issue at hand is a 24-month no resale clause that Ford says Cena violated when selling a 2017 Ford GT. The new documents say that the final, binding contract had nothing about the clause and that he shouldn't be punished since it was not mentioned in the final contract. He wants the judge to throw out the case.

Ford Motor Company filed a lawsuit against Cena in November after he flipped the car for a bigger profit.

"Mr. Cena has unfairly made a large profit from the unauthorized resale flip of the vehicle, and Ford has suffered additional damages and losses, including, but not limited to, loss of brand value, ambassador activity, and customer goodwill due to the improper sale" Ford said in their lawsuit.

Cena at the time argued that he sold the car to pay his bills. In the video above, you can see John Cena test out the car in question.
