John Cena Says He Will Break ‘History Making News’ At WWE Backlash
John Cena is officially headed to Backlash.
On Monday, Cena tweeted out, “It’s official! I’m headed to #WWEBacklash! After months of planning and effort, I am SO excited to break some history-making news! I can’t promise it’ll be perfect but I can promise it will change the WWE experience for Superstars and fans! C U Live Saturday in Tampa or at home on the @espn app!”
WWE Backlash takes place on Saturday, May 9.

Cena previously announced that he will be in Tampa for Backlash in conjunction with Club WWE.
John Cena hosted both nights of WrestleMania 42, which was his first appearance since his retirement match on December 13 against Gunther.
