John Cena and Logan Paul confronted Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso on the May 30 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
What was originally built as a confrontation between just John Cena and Cody Rhodes turned into a preview of the WWE Money in the Bank tag team main event, as both Logan Paul and Jey Uso were in the building as a surprise. Cody introduced Uso first after discussing his time away following his loss to John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania 41. Uso was doing an encore of his YEET celebration with the WWE crowd in Knoxville, Tennessee, when Cena interrupted.
John Cena said both men wanted to be like him, and then added that there was only one other man who embodied hustle, loyalty, and respect in WWE: Logan Paul. Paul entered the ring and talked about what a historic moment it was that he was teaming with Cena. Cena said that Logan Paul "does WWE better than any professional wrestler."
Jey Uso did not want to wait until June 7 for a fight, and Cody Rhodes made a joke about Logan Paul "polishing John Cena's Peacemaker," and the fight was on. The show would end with the baby faces standing tall.
"Logan Paul is paying your mortgage."
