John Cena Shares A Cherished Memory From The Day Of His WWE Retirement That Fans Didn’t See

John Cena reflects on the day he retired from the WWE and a moment that the fans did not see earlier on in the day.

In December of last year, Cena would appear in his final match in the world of pro wrestling, taking on Gunther in singles action at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Cena would come up short in the bout, losing my submission to ‘The Career Killer.’ The day was full of special moments for Cena, but he has now shared a cherished moment from the day that fans did not see.

While speaking at the Tampa Bay Comic Convention, John Cena was asked if there were any cherished moments during the day of his retirement that fans didn’t see.

“There absolutely was. Around midday, before all the action started to go, I got an hour free to meet a very close friend that I hadn’t seen in a long time away from the arena, and gosh, we got to share some amazing time together. That was something that the audience didn’t see, and that’ll probably be one of my most cherished memories of that day.”
