John Cena States His WWE In-Ring Career Is Not Over

John Cena won't call it a career just yet.

Though Cena hasn't been seen since WrestleMania 36 when he may or may not have died in the Firefly Fun House match against Bray Wyatt, Cena says his in-ring career is not over.

The Elite: We're Getting AEW Back To What It Was Supposed To Be

Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Cena discussed his love of BTS, "F9" ("Fast & Furious 9"), and his Elbow Grease book series. During the discussion about Elbow Grease, Cena mentioned his current standing in WWE.

"With Elbow Grease books, I have a very young audience in WWE. A lot of kids, a lot of families, and as my in-ring career is not as active, it's not over, but it's not as active, I wanted to continue to send messages to those younger viewers," he said.

Cena noted that parents love his "Never Give Up" message that he preaches on WWE television and he wanted to bring that to the Elbow Grease series.

Also in the interview, he compared walking onto the set of F9 to walking into the WWE locker room, saying it's a tight-knit group and everyone is treated like family.

Cena is staying busy outside of WWE as he is set to star in the HBO Max series 'Peacemaker' and host the revival of 'Wipeout.'
