John Cena States That Unreleased Songs For ‘You Can’t See Me’ Album Suck

Cena feels the unreleased tracks are not good.

It was 20 years ago that John Cena and his cousin Marc Predka a.k.a. Trademarc collaborated with WWE to release Cena’s ‘You Can’t See Me’ album.

The album went platinum and sold over 1.3 million copies. While Cena was on stage for a Q&A at FAN EXPO Boston, he was asked if he and WWE were interested in putting out an anniversary edition of the album with songs that were not included on the original.

Cena stated that the unreleased songs he recorded suck, and that’s why they’ve never come out. He added that he’ll hold off on doing an anniversary project.

“We talked earlier about boundaries. Dang, those songs that didn’t get released, they didn’t get released because they suck. Y’all don’t want me to put out an album of bad music. So those weren’t good enough to make the cut, and as far as an anniversary release, if we didn’t have anything new to offer, I don’t think it would be any good. So, I’ma hold off on that right now.”

Cena is in the midst of his final year as a wrestler. His last match is taking place on December 13th at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.
