John Cena Talks Retiring From Wrestling, Says The Age Of 50 Is His Line In The Sand

John Cena reiterates that he'll be done with wrestling by the time he's 50.

Cena, who is currently 46 years old, has remained active in the world of wrestling as of late, despite having a ton of success in Hollywood.

In recent months, Cena has consistently reminded fans that his time in wrestling is coming to an end. In a recent interview with Kelly Clarkson, Cena stated that the age of 50 is his line in the sand when it comes to officially retiring from wrestling.

“You know what, 50 is my absolute line in the sand. I would like to try and do it before that, but at 50, I’m just gonna tweet out, ‘Peace out, see ya.’ That’s it, I’m good. I was very much driven where WWE was my passion 24/7 — and I’m very grateful — but I’ve grown and there’s a lot of other avenues I’m curious about in life, being a great husband and partner is one of those. I just want to try do what I can in those [years].”

Cena made a similar statement on the matter in an interview back in January. Fans can check that out here.
