Cena’s projects outside the world of professional wrestling have varied from acting roles to hosting Total Wipeout in the US. In 2011, The Muppets would guest host the Halloween edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, including all major Muppets characters including Statler and Waldorf. While Cena was a roster member at the time, he had literal interaction with the puppets, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t interested in working with them.
While speaking at a recent appearance at Fan Expo Chicago, John Cena was asked if he would be interested in appearing in a Muppets project in the future.
“Well, I think calling me an actor might be a stretch if you’ve seen my stuff. That’s kind of beyond my control, but I would love to. I think I would be up in the balcony with Statler and Waldorf if we did that.”
