John Morrison: Cesar Duran Is The Best, He's Taken Everything Good About Managers And Evolved It

John Morrison reflects on working with Cesar Duran in MLW.

John Morrison was one of the first Superstars signed on for Lucha Underground. In Lucha Underground, Dario Cueto was the boss. Now, Morrison is in Major League Wrestling, and the man that was once known as Dario Cueto is now Cesar Duran.

Speaking with Baby Huey on the In The Kliq podcast, Morrison praised Duran as a one-of-a-kind performer that can only be found in MLW.

"I am working with Cesar Duran, Taya [Valkyrie], and Sam Adonis. It's been really great working with Taya again. Cesar Duran is such a talent. He adds credibility, creativity, and skill to any situation that he's in. He's a pleasure to be around, and I feel like he really elevates anyone that he's in a segment with," said John. "He takes the art of professional wrestling very seriously. If you don't know what I'm talking about, he was Dario Cueto in Lucha Underground. He's Cesar Duran nowadays in MLW. At my bachelor party, we called him Luis because that's his shoot name. He's the best dude ever.

"He's a modern-day throwback to everything that was great about a manager in the 80s. I think he's evolved that into the next level because he's a very serious actor, and he's blending pro wrestling and his ability in acting together, and the only place to see it is in MLW," Morrison added.

Elsewhere in this interview, Morrison praised the current roster of fighters in MLW. Fans can read his comments here.

Recently in an interview with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Taya Valkyrie opened up at that house she feels about working with Cesar Duran once again. Fans can check out her comments here.
